Agricultural Labourers Evictions 1874
Thousands of English Agricultural Labourers who dared to join and fight for Joseph Arch's, National Union of Agricultural Labourers were sacked, blacklisted, evicted from their homes and villages. Many were forced to move to slums in Britain's large industrial cities, thousands of others were forced to migrate to Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
